ベースとなったasics「GEL-YETI」は、山道を長時間駆け抜ける「トレイルランニング」の競技後に履く靴として開発されました。スポーツで疲れた足をリラックスさせる「アフタースポーツ用シューズ」として、2000年に発売されたモデルです。今回のコラボレーションモデルでは、通常後方で調整を行うシューレースの構造を見直し、前方で調整可能なクイックシューレースにアップデートさせました。
The original "GEL-YETI" was released in 2000 as an "after-sports shoe" designed to relax fatigued feet after long trail running sessions on mountain paths. This collaboration model updates the design by replacing the usual rear adjustment lacing system with a quick lace system that allows for adjustment at the front.

ベースモデルにはないシックなブラウンスエードをチョイス。パーツごとに、スエードにあったカラーを選ぶことで、統一されたカラートーンで構成されています。〈GORE-TEX〉を搭載することで、履くシーンを選ばない優れた防水性・透湿性を実現。実用性とデザイン性を兼ね備えたスペシャルモデルが完成しました。
