“Interface”

  • This collection draws inspiration from experimental electronic rock bands from Germany and France in the 1970s and 1980s, including Faust, Heldon, Dieter Moebius, and Conrad Schnitzler. Though not widely known, these bands were instrumental in shaping the fusion of rock and electronic music. The styles are designed with the image of 1970s to 1980s Germany, punk and the subsequent new wave scene, capturing a decadent yet intellectual mood combined with the concept of an imagined near-future tribe. The collection also features artwork by Barcelona-born artist Josep Baqué, known for his distinctive depictions of fantastical hybrid creatures merging humans and animals.

  • A special collaboration item by nonnative and Gramicci will be released as part of UNDERCOVER’s 2025 AW MEN’S COLLECTION “Interface.” The base model is the CLIMBER EASY PANTS, a long-standing collaboration piece between nonnative and Gramicci. With a slim tapered silhouette, knee darts, and drawcord hems, it’s a functional design favored by both brands’ designers. The fabric, provided by UNDERCOVER, is a dobby corduroy characterized by its distinctive textured ridges. Blended with Lenzing Lyocell, a regenerated fiber made from wood pulp, it offers a velvety, luxurious touch and a unique look unlike conventional corduroy. Details exclusive to this collaboration include a metal D-ring on the front and a back pocket zipper engraved with the UNDERCOVER logo. Combining nonnative’s refined silhouette and Gramicci’s practical craftsmanship through the lens of UNDERCOVER’s world, this collaboration piece represents the best of all three brands.
