  • The wind is unstoppable, and the weather is unpredictable. It is easy to forget this in the city, but once you step away from buildings and concrete, these conditions return as the norm. This fall winter marks the ninth collaboration between Wild Things and nonnative, a partnership built on supporting activities in uncharted terrain, untouched environments, and even military operations through reliable equipment. The series has long explored seasonal interpretations of the Denali Jacket, a Wild Things signature that has proven itself in alpine and polar conditions since the 1980s. Last winter, the modern military inspired Monster Parka joined the lineup. For this season, both models feature shells made from fabrics used in nonnative’s inline collection. The Denali Jacket uses two-layer GORE-TEX, while the Monster Parka uses two-layer WINDSTOPPER®. Each comes in Black and Coyote. The silhouettes have been refined for ease of movement and a more contemporary expression, while still retaining the presence of simple, durable gear rather than decorative clothing. Outdoor and military influences have long been part of fashion, yet choosing true alpine or tactical gear for everyday wear still feels striking. Garments with such clear functional origins create a quiet sense of elevation and a subtle statement of intent. Between city and field, fashion and function, nonnative continues to create modern utility wear that moves seamlessly across daily life, shaped through the history and craftsmanship of Wild Things.

EXPLORER PUFF JUMPER "DENALI" N/P TWILL GORE-TEX 2L

  • The original model, first released by Wild Things in 1983, was designed for strong cold weather and waterproof performance. This version uses THINSULATE™ Ex-Soft, the lightest insulation in the series yet still highly warm, improving comfort while preserving its classic outdoor feel. The nylon and polyester twill shell features a pronounced twill texture and a two-layer waterproof construction with a laminated GORE-TEX membrane. A powder guard is added at the waist and a drawcord at the hem.   The neckline is finished with minimal exposed detailing for a cleaner look. The front outer flap has been updated from hook and loop fasteners to snap buttons that do not catch on knitwear. Dual logo patches on the left sleeve offer a subtle nod to the collaboration.

EXPLORER PUFF COAT "MONSTER PARKA" NYLON RIPSTOP WINDSTOPPER®2L

  • Using the same THINSULATE™ Ex-Soft insulation as the Denali Jacket in this collaboration, the EXPLORER PUFF COAT balances softness with excellent warmth. The shell is made from nylon ripstop, while GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER® provides wind protection that helps maintain internal heat. The coat retains volume but is adjusted to avoid the extreme proportions of the original reference, offering comfortable ease of movement. The sleeves use a three dimensional pattern to reduce stress, and the cuff straps have been updated to original logo hardware. The neck is designed higher to store the hood and provide a warmer, sharper look. Large pockets are lined with fleece and function as hand warmers. Logo patches are placed at the back of the neck and on the left sleeve.
